Glasgows Future Goals

Now we have Josh, our new Business Development Manager, his role is to target the private sector for us and Josh has already generated some video production leads.

Last year two of our directors, Paul and Paul announced that they would be taking a step back, moving to 4 days a week. Soon they will move to 3 days a week. They have been working with Glasgows since its birth so we think they deserve a break, don’t you?

This also means account management for new contracts coming in are now being allocated to our two other directors, Tim or Liz.

We recognise as that we need to resource up to fill the hole this will leave, and to continue to increase turnover and profit, so we’re planning on recruiting new people (see details below). It’s also given us an opportunity to look at the overall structure and add resource in the areas where it’s needed as the business grows and changes.

Tender / marketing manager – This is a new role to support business development (predominantly existing public sector) with tender writing, research etc, and also marketing support, creative writing, script writing etc.

Creative Designer – A new position to provide support across all creative requirements, from tenders, internal marketing and delivery.

Producer – A new role to provide support as our creative / film offering grows – from involvement in creative tenders to filming and live production.

Trainee Project Manager – Another new position.

Client Services Apprentice – Maisy (leaving us in August, good luck Maisy!)

Although there will be no immediate recruitment in Production we recognise this is the direction the business has been moving and will look at additional resource here as needed.

These are positions we are hoping to fill in the coming months, so be sure to keep an eye out on our careers page if you think you may be suitable!
