social value

supporting a sustainable, accessible future

Our aim is to create a future fit for everyone, providing opportunities for local employment, supporting local economies, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellbeing. We are committed to working with our colleagues and supply chain to achieve these goals.

We’re passionate about sustainability and accessibility, and we believe that adding value shouldn’t cost the earth! We seek out the most efficient, sustainable, and innovative solutions, whether that’s in the delivery of an event for one of our wonderful clients, or in the choices we make in-house.

Simple changes to our business practices, all provide practical, measurable steps to reduce our impact. We consider everything from choosing a green energy supplier and installing LED lighting, using sustainable transportation partners, reviewing existing fixtures, fittings, or equipment to see if they can be repurposed or repaired before purchasing new, to ensuring our offices are wheelchair accessible, and encouraging hybrid working.

Similarly, straightforward changes to an event agenda, such as the materials and suppliers we use, choosing locally sourced menu options, providing accessible content and applications, or looking at the way a space is used, can have a real impact on your event’s carbon footprint.

We believe that sustainable and accessible events can have a positive social impact in real and measurable ways!

committed to sustainability

The principles of ISO20121 (Sustainable Events) and ISO14001 (Environmental Certification) are embedded in our processes and values through our dedicated sustainability champions. We’re committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

One of our greatest achievements in recent years was being appointed as production company for the Green Zone within the Government’s COP26 event, held at the Glasgow Science Centre in November 2021. COP26 achieved ISO20121 status for this sustainable event and feedback from the auditors was that this was the best example that they had seen and would be used as a case study for future events.

We’re incredibly proud to have been involved with such an important landmark event and we’re even more committed to making more sustainable events with a social impact with all our clients.

We’re committed to minimising our environmental impact and maximising our social impact. Our social value principles provide the building blocks for decisions that provide an increase in equality, wellbeing & environmental sustainability.
